Criminal Investigations Division (CID)

The McIntosh County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Division is dedicated to protecting our coastal community through thorough, professional, and impartial criminal investigations. Our investigators conduct follow-up investigations involving a wide range of offenses, including violent crimes, property crimes, theft, fraud, narcotics, firearms offenses, financial crimes, and other criminal activity. Investigators work closely with patrol deputies, victims, witnesses, prosecutors, and local, state, and federal law enforcement partners to collect evidence, identify offenders, and develop cases for prosecution. We utilize modern investigative techniques, technology, digital evidence, surveillance, and information sharing to ensure each case receives the attention and professionalism it deserves.
